on contentment

i've begun to understand
language just isn't enough.

"beauty" falls short
"clouds" are more than that
and trees and green and sky
you still don't know what i'm seeing
and even if you did
you wouldn't know what i felt.

i'm happy to think
i was created to feel this
for the place i am in
